Graydon Hall Manor Toronto Wedding

It’s no secret that many photographers love to photograph at Graydon Hall Manor in Toronto. The grounds, the character, the light, the charm…there is so much to offer for our couples. To be able to capture a wedding for a couple as kind-hearted, funny, loving, hard-working (and stylish) as these two was the cherry on top. Katie & Ken have been together for nearly 10 years and have built such a wonderful life together. They also have the cutest proposal story which consist of Ken building a light up board that reads “Marry Me” that he put in the backyard of their new home at Christmas. It was a PJ proposal & they now keep that sign at their family cottage which we adore. Their adorable little Boston Terrier, Hudson, made the day that much more special by being apart of the ceremony. Who doesn’t love a furry four legged ring bearer?!

The day started off with tornados and storms happening around the GTA. We were literally watching the weather like hawks trying to predict down to the minute when the rain would stop and if we could continue with an outdoor ceremony. Although we couldn’t make it an outdoor ceremony, the indoor ceremony location at Graydon Hall Manor is gorgeous. The rain stopped and the sun came out just before the ceremony making it the perfect evening for everyone to enjoy cocktail hour outside before the reception. The day was so relaxed. So many laughs and hugs being exchanged amongst everyone. Katie & Ken had the sweetest first dance prepared that was basically like a scene out of Dirty Dancing but with less actual dirty dancing. Our hearts swoon over these two & this wedding!
