Leigh-Anne & Calvin’s wedding at The Guild Inn Estate in Toronto was one of those days where you just want to spread the love and pay it forward. It wasn’t the stunning couple, the beautiful venue, the amazing food & service or even the scenery that made it magical (although that all helped!) it was the love these two share and their families share. They have one of those rare love stories that make you believe in destiny. Not only are they madly in love, but the bride and the groom’s sister became best friends, the groom and bride’s brother became good friends and their parents are incredibly good friends. As everyone says, you marry into the family and they couldn’t be a more perfect example of two families joining together as one.
The two met through their parents. Calvin and his father are very close and own a business together renovating properties. Leigh-Anne’s father reached out to Calvin’s dad while him and his wife were looking for someone to renovate their home. These two adorable dads instantly hit it off. They shared their love for life and shared stories about their family noticing many similarities between them. Obviously they decided to work together. When construction started, Leigh-Anne saw Calvin and told her parents she was going to marry him! Being the gentlemen he is, Calvin asked Leigh-Anne’s father for permission to take her out on a date. Two years of renovations and 3 years of dating later; Leigh-Anne and Calvin’s wedding day was taking place with his sister as her maid of honour, her brother has a groomsmen and both their parents as happy as ever.
We were welcomed with opened arms by this incredible couple, their friends and their family. This wedding day was full of so much genuine love, happy tears and massive smiles. It gave us all the feels! We are forever grateful to be shown so much love and admiration & will cherish this day for a long time to come! Thank you Leigh-Anne & Calvin for inspiring us all.
