We feel so grateful to be able to grow our own food while living RV life. We are living within a beautiful community in Ontario that has brought like minded people into our lives, and has allowed us the space to grow our own food with intention. 

Having a small garden shows a mere glimpse into the efforts and care it takes to grow healing, whole and healthy food. As well as the power of the sacred knowledge nature has to grow, flourish and nourish 🌱 

Lessons of trust, timing, patience and the natural rhythms of the earth. Encouraging us to move on natures timing.

Why did we stop drinking alcohol? June will be a Why did we stop drinking alcohol?

June will be a time for us to celebrate 3.5 years without alcohol ✨

This post is intended to share our own personal journey with alcohol, the intention is not to trigger or judge anyone else’s choices and/or relationship with alcohol 🤍

We are here to share our experiences in the hopes it relates to someone else who may have questions or similar experiences with their relationship with it.

We have learned how much alcohol worsened our anxieties. Even when we only drank socially, even if it was only 1 or 2. The cycle of drinking, of consciously + constantly thinking about how much, when, limiting, how it made us feel during or most importantly, after consuming, we were still encompassed in a cyclic thought pattern of alcohol. Our nervous systems riding a wave of processing physically, mentally, emotionally + spiritually. 

The social pressure, conditioning + mindset acceptance of drinking was the hardest pattern to break. Being able to free ourselves of that thought process + energy has allowed us to feel more comfortable in our beings. 

The reduction in stress + anxiety, the improved sleep + digestion, mental clarity, practicing the will power of saying no + honouring our own needs especially in social settings, all encouraged us to be more comfortable just being us. 

We never felt our highest + best selves while drinking or after consuming. And alcoholism + addiction is something that has impacted the lives, health + well-beings of some of our loved ones. 

We found other ways that actually does calm the nervous system: yoga, breath work, reiki, the acceptance of self + self love, kombucha, infused waters, time in nature, time with loved ones. 

There are other ways to intentionally + healthily elevate ourselves if we want to experience an occasional time out, or to go inwards to reflect. 

For us personally, giving up alcohol has transformed our relationship with ourselves, improved our health + well-being, our awareness of ourselves + how we interact with others + the world. It has has allowed us to feel more control over our health.

May is a really hard time for us. It is the mont May is a really hard time for us. 

It is the month our best friend passed very suddenly. It is also the month of his birthday. A month of hard as well as happy memories 🤍

Mercury retrograde + the lunar eclipse didn’t ease the many emotions. 

This May in particular has been a transition month so far. A time of settling back in Ontario until October, and a time of integrating both the beautiful familiar + the beautiful new ✨

There is lots to look forward to with time with friends + family, capturing some beautiful wedding days + soul love, sharing new offerings, hosting healing events, time in our favourite waters + experiences we have yet to discover. 

For now, we are honouring slowing down for the rest of May, being present with loved ones + preparing for all that is to come. We are honouring the nuance + waves that May brings, while we honour the spirit of our Taylor, the many lessons he taught us + continues to teach us 🤍

We are looking forward to some new moon energy on Friday ✨ Wishing everyone a beautiful long weekend, and if you’ve been feeling some intense energy, we’re wishing you a shift of vibes ✨🙏🏼🤍

So many moments in life need to be felt, experienced and lived. 

What we see on socials are highlights. Experiences we all choose to share. To try to convey, relate or inspire. 

None of us can summarize our entire beings or experiences into the boxes of this digital space. We can only try to lead with love + intention. 

We hope to inspire you to find your magic, your power, your alignment, your dreams. Because it is so important to soak in your moments, honour them, reflect on them, and not compare your experiences to anyone else’s  that we are all so inundated with everyday. We can learn from each other’s experiences, cheer each other on or also set boundaries if we feel something isn’t serving us at the time to give ourselves space to process. 

We can share with you how beautiful it is to be on top of this mountain, but your own physical experiences that ignite you, that allow you to soak in the magic of life is what is important 🤍

Exploring through Utah on our journey back to Onta Exploring through Utah on our journey back to Ontario 💫 

We crossed Zion National Park + Bryce National Park off our bucket list, and got to spend time at some beautiful, intimate, family owned parks along the way! 

If visiting Zion + Bryce, we recommend staying at @ziontobryce Cliffside Cabins. We loved our stay here with the beautiful red rock mountain behind us + the kind people who own + operate the park. 

For our time in Moab we stayed at Coyote Springs RV, a quiet, intimate + remote park outside the city that offered stunning  mountain views + incredibly kind souls.
