It has almost been 1 year since we sold our home i It has almost been 1 year since we sold our home in Canada + started our full time RV journey!

Although we loved many parts of owning a home, we didn’t spend much time in our homes. We spent most of our time traveling to capture life moments. We used to joke that we lived in our car.

The more we worked, the more we traveled away from our home. We worked more because we needed to maintain our home + business, as well as save for the future + life like all of us. And we love what we do.

It wasn’t until 2020 happened that we spent a lot of our time at home. What we learned we wanted + needed in a home changed because we also changed. The world changed, our livelihood was threatened.

Perspectives + priorities shifted from hustle to flow. From an abundance of space to more intentional space. The pace of our lives + our health became priority. How we spend our energy became a priority. Our well-being + having more time with our loved ones + ourselves became a priority.

Often times we get so busy we become so disconnected. From ourselves + the earth around us. Sometimes we can feel connected while at the same time are so unaware of our exhaustion + needs.

RV life has given us clarity of our needs. It allows to travel to new places, experience new energy, learn about different lifestyles, connect with so many incredible souls + we have learned of so many different journeys.

As children we marvel at the world + the simple parts life so of many us pass by as adults. We wanted to live that feeling more, the feeling of being amazed at the beauty of the world like our childhood selves.

The earth we have experienced, the people we have met, the energy we have felt, and the lessons we’ve learned have shifted how we want to live life moving forward. We have less things + a smaller space but we feel more full.

That’s what RV life has given us. It has given us a new life, a blended life of travel + living.

A life of community, expansion, connection, exploration + intention ✨✨

Becoming a Reiki Master is a journey of education Becoming a Reiki Master is a journey of education + discovery that I am beyond grateful for ✨

Reiki is a healing journey of coming into alignment with your authentic self.

Reiki has taught me the humbling importance of dropping our ego, the power of energy work, of the healing power of our minds, bodies + souls + the power of human connection.

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique in which symbols + hand movements are used to guide the flow of energy.

Reiki works by accessing the subconscious + unconscious parts of the mind to remove energy blockages from our chakras + the body.

Anyone has the ability to become a Reiki healer if you work with a Reiki Master to receive energy attunements. Whoever is performing Reiki is a conduit to the life force energy that exists within you + around you.

A Reiki Master assists in helping you heal yourself.

Reiki helps with:

-Reduction in stress, anxiety + depression
-Relieves pain
-Improves sleep + relaxation
-Increases flexibility
-Reduces inflammation from the body
-Accelerates the body’s natural healing process
-Promotes a natural balance of energy between the mind, body + soul
-Helps spiritual growth

There is a long distance symbol that can be used in Reiki that is not bound by space or time, and allows healing to take place without being physically together.

I have been focusing on long distance Reiki healing for the last year + it has been a truly life changing experience for me with the connections + experiences I have shared with others.

Reiki has improved my life in so many ways. Receiving regular Reiki + performing Reiki has promoted a decrease in anxiety + stress, has improved my flexibility + inflammation in my body, has encouraged my connection to my authenticity + has continued to allow me to learn from others.

You can view our stories for more information about Reiki, my Reiki offerings + new offerings that will be available when we launch our rebrand ✨

Forever thankful to my soul sister @msvictoriashley for initiating our Reiki training + journeys together ❤️

Truth? We don't have it all figured out. We made Truth? We don't have it all figured out.

We made the decision to sell our home + trusted the universe would align. We had never driven with a trailer before, never pulled one, never lived in one. We had never even been camping together.

We didn't have a plan of what our year would look like or where we would go.

We had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to hitch, unhitch, hook up to power + water, read every manual (twice because we've had 2 trailers in 1 year) + learn with every lesson, mistake, broken part + problem to solve.

We are learning as we go. We didn't have a guarantee or a solid plan. But what we did have was the strong push to change our lifestyle from keeping up with a rat race to creating our own life + living by our own rules. Ones of the spirit, of alignment + what feels authentic for us.

One of understanding our human design + how we can honour who we are individually + as a partnership.

It felt like so much was being taken away + we had to make decisions to protect our well-being + our future.

We were overcoming burn-out, stress + anxiety after trying to find balance in a growing business that we love, heal through personal health struggles + navigating the very tragic passing of our best friend. Pile on being humans + small business owners during a pandemic.

It hasn't been easy. We have made so many mistakes. We've made wrong turns, made bad calls. Things have broken + fallen apart.

But we are healing. We feel grateful to learn. To be taught these lessons to evolve + gain new skills + perspectives.

There have been challenges, but we feel more grounded, more at peace. We have more time + freedom, more days spent in nature.

We are focusing more on being, than doing all the time. This journey has humbled us.

If you have the desire to change your life, if there is a voice telling you to make a change, or a gut instinct that is telling to change course, honour it. And trust that the universe has your back. Those intuitive feelings are happening for a reason!

You don't need to have it all figured it out. It's okay that we are learning as we go. That is LIFE ❤️

Are you feeling a call to change course? Share below👇❤️
Are you feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed? Ov Are you feeling anxious, stressed, overwhelmed? Overworked? Burnt out?

We’ve been there. Days controlled by anxiety and stress is one of the biggest reasons we made a big lifestyle transition to full time RV life. It has grounded us, held us and supported us in our healing in so many ways. It has allowed us to live a life with a further connection to nature. But we’re human, of course we still have days.

Yesterday was a day of anxiousness and overwhelm with navigating our long to do list.

So we got outside to disconnect from the noise, to connect with ourselves, connect with nature and breathe in the fresh air. We always have a choice to make a conscious effort to shift our energy.

Did you know grounding 👇🏼

✨ improves the electrical activity of your brain

✨ reduces stress, anxiety and pain

✨ improves sleep

✨ reduces inflammation

Getting outside in nature, taking deep breaths of fresh air, hiking, walking, doing yoga outside, standing barefoot or even sitting in the grass with mindfulness are all amazing ways to ground.

Do you ground? ✨

Wedding photography has changed our lives in so ma Wedding photography has changed our lives in so many beautiful + unexpected ways.

It has gifted us connections + community that have taught us so much about life, relationships + love.

It has taught us the beauty of diversity, of human connection + the power of love + community.

It has taught us to be artistic observers, students + storytellers of each story, of finding deeper meanings + details with each love.

It has taught us that although every wedding day is different, that each couple + story is unique, that every moment on a wedding day, regardless of where or how it takes place, is about two people. Two humans who are making a decision to bond their souls + share it with themselves + their world in so many differing + personal ways.

We are so grateful for the continued journey of capturing marriage + human connection. Each year brings new lessons, realizations, growth + travel.

Reminiscing on this amazing first look + getting ready moments before they said I do ❤️
Sharing the story of our ring finger tattoos ✨ Sharing the story of our ring finger tattoos ✨

Bali memories from 3 years ago, almost to the day, when we honoured 8 years together 💫

The day we had one of the most beautiful tattoo experiences at @karmahousebali. Breath-work, intention setting + prayer before we tattooed the heart chakra on our ring fingers.

In Sanskrit, the Anahata (heart chakra) means unhurt, unstruck + unbeaten. The heart is our center of love for self + others, compassion, empathy + forgiveness. Anahata is associated with unconditional love + joy. The heart chakra is where truth lies.

Anahata is associated with the element Air. Feeling the infinite + space. The infinite parts of ourselves + the gateway to our inner temple.

When our heart chakras are open + aligned, we feel deeply connected to the world around us. We feel immense gratitude. We tattooed the Anahata on our ring fingers to express our love for ourselves + each other. To express our gratitude for our soul connection + honour our connection to self + this life. The tattoos we received that day become more meaningful each year.

So grateful for the experience we had with these intentional tattoos + meaningful art ✨
We love reflecting on our time in Bali. We appr We love reflecting on our time in Bali. We appreciate those days we spent traveling through such a beautiful part of the world, meeting with new + familiar faces, receiving our RYT200 yoga teacher training which changed our lives, immersing ourselves in beautiful culture + soaking in the breathtaking energy + nature that surrounded us ✨

Becs + Jack during one of the most epic sunsets soaking in some Bali magic 💫

Have you you visited Bali?! What were some of your favourite places you visited there? Gianyar, Ubud, Ulutwatu + this beach in Canggu hold special places in our hearts 🫶🏼
First dance to the last dance on the day they marr First dance to the last dance on the day they married 🥹❤️

They danced to Is That Alright? by Lady Gaga from a Star is Born, sharing laughs + tears in the pines of northern Ontario. Such a beautiful moment ✨

What was your first dance song? ☺️ Ours was an acoustic version of Walking On A Dream that our friends graciously sang ✨
FL ➡️ AZ ✨ We drove through Florida, Alaba FL ➡️ AZ ✨

We drove through Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, New Mexico + have arrived in Arizona ✨

It has been an almost 2 week journey from Naples to Camp Verde.

A heavy rain storm + tornado warning in Louisiana, a beautiful time with friends in Austin, delayed by high winds in West Texas, hitching + unhitching, slides in and out, a quick stopover in Albuquerque with a leaking hose + an epic drive through Arizona from snow to desert in less than an hour ☀️

Travel days are long, they don’t always flow with ease but we’re taught patience + the importance of a good road snack + playlist.

The importance of communication, observing + listening. The beauty of appreciating the land you drive on + through. Driving is a very different experience to flying. You feel so much more. You feel the changing land + feel the earth energy. Discovering new places you may never see again.

Days on the road teach us patience, the beauty of the journey + the lessons to be learned in the in-between moments. The beauty + appreciation of transitions ❤️✨

Do you love a road trip? ✨✌🏼
